Philosophy and Approach

Everyone is capable and deserving of relief, peace, and a sense of deep meaning from clear understanding.

To support you in your personal growth toward these qualities, I draw upon my professional training as an artist, educator, and bodyworker in order to provide you with a holistic experience in mind, body, and spirit.

Because an artful way of being weaves together healing and learning so that they are one and the same.

This is the magic of what I can offer you, as well as what I work for in my own life with a humbling dedication: A path that is intentional, easeful, and grounded. Though, that is not to say challenges are unwelcome— quite the opposite, I believe adversity can bring profound growth. A broken and healed bone is stronger than the bone it was before, and when the path towards transformation is taken with purpose and practiced with ritual, that strength becomes magnetic and unique. It is a state of being that is connected and yet all your own.

It is a way of forgiveness.

And so, when you seek healing and learning in pursuit of forgiveness,

I will be honored to hold space and steward that path for you.

With warmth and gratitude,

H

Pain is a psychosomatic experience— it is felt in the body and mind together. It is a feeling that tells us something in our body and mind is in need of care and relaxation. I use a variety of integrated, manual techniques to help bring you whole body relief. These include:

Swedish and Relaxation // Intentional Deep Tissue // Trigger point and Myofascial Release // Assisted Stretching // Guided Meditation

***I have begun training to offer Acupressure, based in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yang theory, and Daoist philosophy, and look forward to completing this training in May of 2026. If you are interested in integrating what I have learned so far into your bodywork sessions, please ask! I look forward to sharing this education and practice with you.

  • Most major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, and Discover

On the day after your session, if you do not have a future or follow up appointment already scheduled, you will receive a check-in email asking about how you are feeling and giving you the opportunity to be in touch regarding any novel or unique sensations you may be experiencing after your bodywork session.

Community Happenings

Ritual Arts refers to a variety of mindful and curated experiential practices I offer to facilitate your path towards a sense of peace, ease, and grounded embodiment, and when the emotional weather of life calls for release and intention. In order to craft these experiences, I pull from my training as an artist and educator, specializing in relational aesthetics and the Reggio Emilia approach. In researching and working with both of these specialty backgrounds, I have learned to empower students, viewers, and individuals through the intentional curation of a space so that individuals are supported in their own emergent and novel social-emotional experiences.

Both of these approaches are deeply rooted in process and aesthetic, much like the folk traditions I have inherited from my familial background. Coming from an Irish-Sicilian lineage, I hold dear the memories of learning traditions, listening to stories, and then pouring over books and online publications to learn even more about the cultural practices that trickle down through my family.

The most significant lesson I have learned thus far is how my ancestral traditions share in practice with traditions I have gravitated toward on my own. Throughout my teen years and until now, I have studied Daoist and Zen Buddhist philosophy. I marvel at the ways these philosophies and related spiritual practices resemble that of ancient Celtic and Sicilian folk traditions for healing, wellness, and lifestyle. It is what encourages me to carefully blend what I have learned through my family and studies, so that I can offer it for my community.
