A place for permission.
A space for forgiveness.
A way to keep moving.
A nourishing and creative practice for embodiment and balance as you move through the weather of life, and work towards a future of peace, wellness, and a clear sense of self.
I‘m so glad you’re here
Do you experience your body as though it is separate from your sense of self?
Do you experience chronic pain, tension, or woe?
Do you feel stuck?
At the Center for New Systems,
you and I will work together and establish a regular, supportive practice so you can feel and understand your body and emotions as one experience.
And I’m looking forward to working together.
My name is Hannah Elizabeth Bevens, MAT, MFA, LMT, and I am deeply humbled by this opportunity to steward a path for you that leads towards release, relief, and a clear sense of well being.
To support you, I weave together my professional training as a fine artist, educator, and therapeutic bodyworker to curate a personal practice, offering a space for facilitated deep reflection and exploration. Together, we will address how you feel— physically and emotionally— and through the integration of therapeutic bodywork techniques with creative expression and energy work, it is my goal to help you move sensations of pain, uncertainty, and overwhelm through and out of your body.
It is my goal for you to feel free and thrive.
I also come to this work as someone who you can feel connected to through the shared understanding of what it means to be sensitive and curious in a world of intense experiences. It has been my experience that the extreme weather of life, while deeply discouraging at times, has shown me lessons from which I garner a guiding sense of meaning as I move through the world now. It is because of my experience that I have arrived as a therapeutic bodyworker and creative professional, and it is because of my experience that I recognize how difficult it can be to want to heal, and to feel better. It is because of my experience that I recognize your presence, will, and the shared belief that this work matters.
What I offer…
I work with all individuals who are seeking therapeutic integrative bodywork in pursuit of meaningful change and understanding in their sense of self and wellness.
Sessions can be 60 minutes // 75 minutes // 90 minutes // 120 minutes // 4 hours in duration.
During your session, you and I will first discuss how you are feeling and what you might like to work on. After some conversation, we will move to the treatment table. While working with you and your body, I integrate deep tissue and myofascial release techniques with supportive energy work to uncover and release tension patterns. Once we’re done working on the treatment table, we finish with a reflective conversation and take note of any sensations you or I noticed and how you want to incorporate them into your ongoing care.
In addition to the therapeutic hands-on bodywork at the center of each session, I also offer additional time for facilitated creative reflection and expression. During this extended discussion time, you and I engage is expressive drawing exercises, relating to and reinforcing the intrinsic embodiment work you do with each session. These drawings become a form of archival documentation of your process in this transformative practice. Please let me know if this is something you’re interested in hearing more about and incorporating into your session.
I price sessions based on a rate of $1.75 per minute, and a sliding scale is available — please do not hesitate to ask if this is something that can support you in receiving necessary therapeutic care. I believe in making therapeutic care accessible.
Payments are made via cash, check, or venmo.
In order to schedule a session, you can call // text // email me directly. If texting or emailing, please include your name, by when you need or hope for a reply, and how you came to learn about my practice in your message.

After your session, I will reach out again to follow up on how you are feeling and by when you might like to schedule your next appointment, if we hadn’t done so at the end of your last session.
If you are interested in gifting a session to someone, I offer gift certificates :) Please reach out and I can retrieve the necessary details for mailing out a handcrafted card and gift certificate.
Lastly, I very much value the time that goes into this work and practice, on both of our parts. Please note: Appointments that are canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for the entire session. In order to cancel or reschedule, please call or text.
