A place for permission.
A space for forgiveness.
A way to keep moving.
Offering a supported and intentional
bodywork practice
for balanced, felt embodiment
while you navigate the weather of life and
come back to your self.
I‘m so glad you’re here
Do you experience your body as though it is separate from your sense of self?
Do you feel burdened by chronic pain, tension, or woe?
Do you feel stuck?
At the Center for New Systems,
you and I will work together and establish a regular, supportive practice so you can feel and understand your body and emotions as one experience.
And I’m looking forward to working together.
My name is Hannah Elizabeth Bevens, MAT, MFA, LMT (they - them - theirs), and I am deeply humbled by this opportunity to steward a path for you that leads towards release, relief, and a clear sense of well being.
I work with all individuals who are seeking therapeutic and integrative bodywork in pursuit of meaningful change for how they feel in the every day.
To support you, I weave together my professional training as a therapeutic bodyworker, educator, and artist to curate a personal practice, offering a space for facilitated deep reflection and exploration. Together, we will address how you feel— physically and emotionally— and through the integration of therapeutic bodywork techniques with creative expression and energy work, it is my goal to help you move sensations of pain, uncertainty, and overwhelm through and out of your body.
It is my goal for you to feel free and thrive.
I also come to this work as someone who you can feel connected to through the shared understanding of what it means to be sensitive and curious in a world of intense experiences. It has been my experience that the extreme weather of life, while deeply discouraging at times, has shown me lessons from which I garner a guiding sense of meaning as I move through the world now. It is because of my lived and felt experience that I have arrived as a therapeutic bodyworker and creative professional, and it is because of my experience that I recognize how difficult it can be to want to heal, and to feel better. It is because of my experience that I recognize your presence, will, and the shared belief that this work matters.
What I offer…
Sessions can be 60 minutes // 75 minutes // 90 minutes // 120 minutes // 4 hours in duration.
During your session, you and I will first discuss how you are feeling and what you might like to work on. We will address the question:
What do you want to do or feel with your body that you do not currently experience?
The answer to this may simply be, “I want to feel without pain.” Or, it may be, “I want to be able to run again.” It may also be, “I just want to feel; I want to feel like my body is mine.” Your answer can also be, “I want to feel like I did before the accident.” These are all real answers, they’re all good answers, and there are no wrong answers.
After some conversation, we will move to the treatment table. While working with you and your body, I integrate deep tissue and fascial release techniques with supportive energy and sound work to uncover and release tension patterns. As Dr. Ida Rolf said, we are taking the thorns out.
Once we’re done working on the treatment table, we finish with a reflective conversation and take note of any sensations you or I noticed and how you want to incorporate them into your ongoing care.
Payment, scheduling, and policies…
I price sessions based on a rate of $1.75 per minute, and a sliding scale is available — please do not hesitate to ask if this is something that can support you in receiving necessary therapeutic care. I believe in making therapeutic care accessible.
Payments are made via cash, check, or venmo. Here’s a breakdown of prices per session length:
60 minutes, 105.00 ~ 75 minutes, 130.00 ~ 90 minutes, 155.00 ~ 120 minutes, 210.00 ~ 4 hours, 420.00
In order to schedule a session, you can call // text // email me directly. If texting or emailing, please include your name, if you need an urgent reply, and how you came to learn about my practice in your message.
Once we schedule your session time I will be in touch with a confirmation and gentle reminder message.
After your session, I will be in touch again to follow up on how you are feeling and, in case we hadn’t done so already, to schedule your next session.
If you are interested in gifting a session to someone, I offer gift certificates :) Please reach out and I can retrieve the necessary details for mailing out a handcrafted card and gift certificate.
Lastly, I very much value the time that goes into this work and practice, on both of our parts. Please note: Appointments that are canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for the entire session. In order to cancel or reschedule, please call or text.
